HBA Global Expo announced that it is now accepting nominations for its 8th Annual International Package Design Awards (IPDA) at www.hba-ipda.com. These prestigious awards honor the year’s most innovative packaging in several categories including cosmetics, fragrance, skin care, personal care and professional beauty products. A new category—Eco-Friendly Packaging—has also been added to this year’s nomination form.  

Any size company can submit products that were introduced in the U.S. or internationally from June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2007, including suppliers, design firms and manufacturers. There is an early bird IPDA deadline of May 15 and the final deadline for submissions is June 20, 2007.

Finalists for the IPDA Awards will be announced in July and the Category Leaders and Grand Awards will be announced at the HBA Industry Dinner on Sept. 18, 2007 at the Marriott Marquis in New York. In addition all the IDPA finalists are displayed in the IPDA Showcase at the HBA Global Expo trade show and Educational Conference, Sept. 18-20, 2007 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York and for the first time, the IPDA finalists will also be displayed at the Showcase of Packaging Innovations at PACK EXPO in Las Vegas.
